Alessandro Chillé is an Italian American writer-director whose work centers on characters trapped inside systems built to help them. Raised in a family of nurses, he draws on a lifetime of proximity to the medical world — its compassion, its machinery, and the space between — which forms the backbone of his sci-fi thriller Haven, winner of the Grand Prize at the 2026 Fade In Awards, developed at the Stowe Story Labs Narrative Lab, and a Round 2 advancement at the Sundance Institute Episodic Lab in its series format.
He executive produced the feature Continue, acquired by Lionsgate/Grindstone, and directed the short Father Figures, which screened at Dances With Films and the Phoenix Film Festival. His narrative short films for Amazon Fire TV, Shots Studios, and ATTN: have surpassed two billion views.
For nearly two decades he has served as Director of Marketing for The Classical Theatre of Harlem, working alongside some of the industry’s finest stage and screen actors. He writes grounded genre features — psychological thrillers and elevated sci-fi about ordinary people fighting to stay human inside inhuman systems.
Alessandro is managed by Sidney Chun of Bash Entertainment.
